Drought Bus

Drought buses are travelling around rural NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Queensland as part of the Australian Governments drought assistance package. The buses are travelling around the worst drought-affected areas and providing information about the services offered by the Australian Government.

Dahab Egypt Bombing Health Care Costs Assistance

In response to the bombing in Dahab Egypt on 24 April 2006, the Australian Government has announced that assistance will be provided for injuries sustained directly as a result of the bombing.

Bali 2005 Special Assistance

The Australian Government has announced that a package of assistance will be provided to eligible persons for the treatment of conditions arising directly as a result of the 1 October 2005 Bali bombings.

London Assist

The Australian Government will provide practical assistance and support for Australian victims and survivors of the 7 July 2005 London bombings.

Tsunami Healthcare Assistance Scheme

The Tsunami Healthcare Assistance Scheme is an Australian Government initiative for people who have out-of-pocket healthcare costs in Australia arising from the Indian Ocean tsunamis on 26 December 2004.

Balimed

In recognition of the extreme difficulties faced by those injured in the Bali bombings on 12 October 2002, the Australian Government has agreed to cover all out-of-pocket expenses for the treatment of injuries received.
