Aged Care
Medicare Australia manages aged care payments on behalf of the Department of Health and Ageing and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to approved aged care providers to help them provide cost-effective, quality care for frail, older people and support for their carers. Medicare Australia’s role is to provide timely and accurate payments, with a focus on service and administrative efficiency.
