Formats, specifications and downloads

Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (ACIR)

The following document provides the current vaccine codes available for sending immunisation claims to the ACIR using Internet Data Interchange (IDI).

DVA veteran treatment accounts

The Department of Veterans' Affairs exists to serve members of Australia's veteran and defence force communities, war widows and widowers, widows and dependants, through programs of care, compensation, commemoration and defence support services.

Medicare Australia has entered into a new five-year services agreement with DVA and the Repatriation Commission to continue to provide processing services for veterans' treatment accounts. The services agreement is based on a two-tiered payment arrangement comprising a fixed charge and a variable charge per transaction processed.

Veterans' treatment accounts bulk bill has now been incorporated into the online claiming Client Adaptor. For more information about online claiming formats call the Online Technical Support Helpdesk on 1300 550 115.

Unacceptable characters in ECLIPSE

When transmitting ECLIPSE In-patient Medical Claims (IMC), In Hospital Claims (IHC) and Online Eligibility Checks (OEC), certain characters cannot be accepted as it will cause the transmission to fail.
