Calculating the benefit for the payment of vascular ultrasound services
The multiple vascular ultrasound services site rule (MVUSSR) and diagnostic imaging multiple services rules (DIMSR) are two complex radiology rules that are calculated differently depending on the order they are applied.
Between 1 May and 31 October 2002, the DIMSR applies before the MVUSSR. On 1 November 2002, the MVUSSR applies before the DIMSR.
