PBS Reason Codes Claims processing
New Closing the Gap (CTG) PBS Copayment Measure reason codes
From 1 July 2010 Medicare Australia is introducing three new reason codes for CTG items - 599, 604 and 612. The new reason codes will differentiate between PBS/RPBS prescriptions and CTG prescriptions (including CTG under copayment prescriptions) being claimed.
