Section 100 handling fee increase
The Section 100 handling fee (the handling fee) is paid to pharmacies supplying medicines in bulk to remote Aboriginal Health Services under Section 100 of the National Health Act 1953.
From 1 July 2010, additional funding is being provided under the Agreement to allow the handling fee to increase from $2.69 to $2.74. The handling fee will then be indexed annually.
