Section 100 handling fee increase
The Section 100 handling fee (the handling fee) is paid to pharmacies supplying medicines in bulk to remote Aboriginal Health Services under Section 100 of the National Health Act 1953.
From 1 July 2012, the handling fee will increase from $2.79 to $2.82 for each pharmaceutical benefit supplied on or after 1 July 2012.
AHS Payments
From 18 March 2013, payments for AHS claims will be made by Electronic Funds Transfer.
