The Department of Human Services has extended online access to electronic Aged Care Client Records (eACCR) to additional aged care providers including EACH, EACH-Dementia, Transition Care and Multi-Purpose Services. CRCCs are unable to register for ACOC at this stage. See Electronic Aged Care Client Record (eACCR), Medicare card number and DVA file number for more information.

Aged Care Education and Training Incentive Program (ACETI)

The Australian Government is providing incentive payments to aged care workers undertaking further study to enhance their career as a personal care worker, enrolled nurse or registered nurse.

An eligible aged care worker who successfully starts an eligible training course after 1 July 2010 will receive two incentive payments—a commencement payment and a completion payment. Payments range from $500–$3000 and are based on the level of study.

Experiencing problems viewing the PDF version of an eACCR?

Adobe Reader loading an empty grey screen

Problem:
When opening a PDF in the Aged Care Online Claiming website using Adobe Reader X version 10.0.*, the browser window loads with an empty grey screen and doesn’t display the Reader toolbar.

Solution:
Upgrade Adobe to Adobe Reader 10.1.2. This software can be downloaded from the Adobe websiteExternal link.

Adobe Reader loading the PDF template with no pre-populated data

Problem:
When using the Aged Care Online Claiming website and Adobe Reader 9.4.7 the eACCR PDF template displays with no pre-populated data

Solution:
Open Adobe Reader, select Edit – Preferences, select Security, tick Enhanced and add the Privileged Host: www2.medicareaustralia.gov.au (tick the HTTPS box).
