Aged Care

Further improvements to eACCR search are coming

On 16 December 2012, enhancements were made to the Aged Care Online Claiming (ACOC) system. ACOC now has the capacity to accept a DVA file number and dependency code (if applicable) when searching for an eACCR. This improvement will allow you to view an eACCR, for persons not admitted into your care, with either a Medicare card number or a DVA file number.

This enhancement will assist aged care services to successfully search and retrieve eACCRs.

The eACCRs Questions and Answers have been updated to reflect this change.

User Access Review for Aged Care Online Claiming

A User Access Review for the Aged Care Online Claiming system was conducted in December 2012. Users who did not access the system during the six month period from 1 June were automatically deactivated.

Once access has been removed, key personnel can request access be reinstated for relevant users (as required). The current user registration process and request access forms will be required to reinstate user access.

To maintain the secruity and privacy of aged care information, we will conduct this process every six months.

To make sure that access is not removed for users who require access to the system, please encourage them to log-on to the Aged Care Online Claiming System regularly.
