Re-registering patients for the Indigenous Health Incentive

 

Go to the PIP and GPII Online page by selecting PIP and GPII in the HPOS Main Menu.

Select Update in the Current PIP and GPII Practices table to re-register patients for the Indigenous Health Incentive.

 

Select Indigenous Health Incentive Patient Registration then Patient List from the left hand navigation.

Select an option from the Select registration year drop down menu and select Get Details to filter patients for re-registration.

 

Select a patient from the search results that you want to re-register by selecting Update.

 

On the Patient Registration—Register/Update Patient screen, answer all mandatory fields and select Submit Re-registration.

Note: The Submit Re-registration button will only display if:

  • the patient registration record for the current year has a registration end date of 31/12/current year
  • the patient registration record for the current year is linked to the same 'Practice ID'
  • the current system date is greater than or equal to 1 November.

Note: You must submit Patient Consent forms for all re-registered patients to Medicare Australia within 14 calendar days.
