The most convenient way to claim a Medicare benefit is at your doctor's—many now offer this service. Next time you visit your doctor, ask the receptionist if they can lodge your Medicare claim when you pay.
Reimbursement for both new and replacement external breast prostheses
If you or someone you know has had a mastectomy as a result of breast cancer they may be eligible to receive a reimbursement of up to $400 for an external breast prosthesis.
